Our Practice

At Kirksvets we try to make your pet's visit to our surgeries as enjoyable as possible, so that when the necessary health checks and treatments are given, your pet is left with only pleasant memories.

Our waiting rooms are comfortable and airy, and we offer hot and cold beverages as well as a selection of information leaflets that are there for you to take away. We also have an extensive Pet Shop in our waiting room where you are free to browse and keep a good stock of Purina food and treats, or can get them within 24 hours of ordering.

The practice has been in existence for around 100 years under different ownerships and names. Jim has been practicing in Sleaford since the 1960's under the name Frost & Kirk. Jim became sole proprietor in 1990 and changed the name to J O Kirk & Associates. Angus his son joined the practice and became partner in 2001 launching the new name of Kirksvets, to coincide with the building of a new £500,000 surgery on the outskirts of Sleaford. The practice also has a site at Londonthorpe, Grantham which was purchased in 1996 and renovated.
